Get Down Tonight
With lots of attitude and Brad Paisley on guitar, Arista artist Phil Vassar belted out his version of Wild Cherry's 1976 dance hit "Play That Funky Music" during the annual disco party that wrapped up Nashville's Country Radio Seminar on Saturday night. Hosted by Blair Garner of the radio show "After Midnite," the packed event once again drew a laundry list of artists who were ready to break out of their routine and have a little fun. Dressed in a silver-sequined suit, Keith Urban made an appearance along DreamWorks' Jessica Andrews and RCA newcomer Jennifer Day, who donned a silver wig and sang Blondie's "Call Me." Sons of the Desert deviated just a bit from the disco theme, offering instead a blistering rendition of the Foreigner hit "Hot Blooded."
