Wynette's Widow Pens Memories, Might Be Hearing Wedding Bells
The New York Daily News reports that Tammy Wynette's widowed husband, George Richey, is shopping a book proposal to publishers of his memoir, You and Me: Tammy Wynette, A Love Story. Richey's book is said to be revealing, including revelations about Wynette's long battles with health problems and addictions. In addition, Richey discusses the grief he felt concerning the (now-dismissed) wrongful-death action that was slapped on him by Wynette's daughters. There are also recent reports that Richey intends to marry ex-Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Sheila Slaughter at Trump Tower next month.
