An animal rights group is talking to the Dixie Chicks about starring in an upcoming ad campaign, according to the band's spokeswoman. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), known for its naked celebrity anti-fur ads, wants the Chicks to pose for its next installment. The New York Post reported the trio would be featured in a field of flowers with fiddles and banjos covering delicate areas. The slogan would read, "We'd rather play naked than wear fur." The band's rep says nothing has been finalized. The Chicks already have some modeling experience, having been featured in a Candies shoes campaign and a recent milk-mustache "Got Milk?" ad. Last week the girls spent some time on their home turf when the sold-out Fly tour took them to Dallas. Their rep says the trio hung out with family and friends and basically relaxed a bit.
