The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) intends to produce a TV movie based on Shania Twain's rise to stardom. Titled
Shania, it's scheduled to air next year in Canada and will be based on Robin Eggar's biography of the singer. "Because
of the formidable odds against her and the obstacles she had to overcome, Shania's story is an inspiration to young people
everywhere, in Canada and around the world," said CBC programming executive Slawko Klymkiw. 11/21/03
