Vince Gill and Amy Grant launched their Simply Christmas tour on Friday (Nov. 28) in Nashville, singing the standards and
covering some country favorites such as "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," "Blue Christmas" and "Mr. Santa." Grant also
encouraged the crowd to sponsor a child through Compassion International. The couple was backed by the Nashville Chamber Orchestra
and joined by comedian Henry Cho. The tour, which will visit the eastern half of the U.S., concludes in Grand Rapids, Mich.,
on Dec. 22. 12/1/03
