Dolly Parton has told the Knoxville News Sentinel that ABC will no longer be producing a biopic of Mae West, a made-for-TV
movie she was intending to star in. An animated project for Disney has also been scrapped for numerous reasons, including
Disney's reluctance to use mountain music in it, she told the paper. ... In related news, Parton delivered her millionth book
as a part of her Imagination Library earlier this month. The program encourages preschoolers to read and delivers 60 books
to each participating child from birth to age 5.
