Unknown Hinson, an act newly signed to Capitol Records Nashville, has been tapped to open a show for actor Tim Robbins' punk
rock band Sunday (Jan. 18) at the Sundance Film Festival. Hinson, the self-proclaimed "king of country western troubadours,"
is attracting attention for his "psychobilly" music style. Robbins, who was in Nashville in November to host a tribute to
Johnny Cash, will be performing right-wing folk tunes from his film, Bob Roberts, according to Hinson's Web site. The
show takes place at Plan B, a club in Park City, Utah.
