The winners of the emerging artist of the year award from the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) in 2003, the
Kenny & Amanda Smith Band, released their second album House Down the Block on Rebel Records on Tuesday (Jan. 20).
Kenny composed the first track, "Where Love Went Wrong," with Ronnie Bowman. (Both men are alumni of the Lonesome River Band
during its 1990s heyday.) Kenny has also won two IBMA awards as a guitarist, while Amanda's voice is reminiscent of Rhonda
Vincent. The title track was written by Buck Owens, who charted it in 1963.
