Dierks Bentley made a special friend when he met 11-year-old Grady McGill before Wednesday's (Jan. 21) taping of CMT Most
Wanted Live. Although the youth suffers from a form of autism that makes it difficult to communicate with other people,
his mother said he experienced a breakthrough after hearing Bentley's music. Excited to hear him ask he could meet the person
who sings "What Was I Thinkin'," the McGill family traveled from Atlanta to meet Bentley. Mary McGill, Grady's mother, was
impressed with the reception they received from Bentley. She said, "He went beyond out of his way. He asked questions of Grady.
He really made a connection with him. This is a huge breakthrough for Grady. If he can reach out to Dierks Bentley, and Dierks
Bentley being so sweet to Grady, that's a connection that hopefully will go on to other friends in his life." Bentley's MWL
appearance airs Saturday (Jan. 24) at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT.
