Comic-musician Rodney Carrington will star in the pilot for an ABC sitcom tentatively titled That's Just Rodney. The
show will aim to adapt his irreverent stand-up comedy and music to mainstream TV. All three of Carrington's CDs for Capitol
Nashville carry parental advisory labels, with such titles as Nut Sack and Morning Wood. Touchstone Television
is undertaking the pilot with executive producers David Himelfarb (My Wife and Kids) and Ric Swartzlander (8 Simple
Rules, Ellen).
