A two-CD compilation titled Night Train to Nashville: Music City Rhythm & Blues, 1945-1970 arrives in stores Tuesday
(Feb. 24), one month before a corresponding exhibit opens at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The CD package examines
the city's contributions to blues, rhythm & blues, soul, jazz and gospel music. It includes recordings by Ruth Brown,
Joe Simon, Arthur Alexander, Clifford Curry and Etta James and a commercial for WLAC Radio recorded by Little Richard. The
exhibit opens March 27.
