Five nominees have been announced for the Nashville Film Festival's best new music video award. The new category recognizes
video directors affiliated with Tennessee production companies. Director Roger Pistole received nominations for the only two
country-related videos -- the Del McCoury Band's "My Love Will Not Change" and Robinella and the CCstringband's "Man Over."
Other nominees include Plumb's "Boys Don't Cry" (directed by Kristen Barlowe), the Verbs' "Live to the Music" (directed by
Roman White) and Five for Fighting's "100 Years" (directed by Trey Fanjoy). Two awards will be presented in this category
-- one selected by an appointed panel and another decided by festival attendees. The winners will be announced May 1 during
the 35th annual festival.
