Phil Vassar has finished recording his third album for Arista Nashville and expects to release a single in April. Producer Frank Rogers, known for his projects with Brad Paisley, worked with Vassar on the album that is scheduled for a mid-summer release. "I decided I wanted to record this whole record differently than I have in the past," comments Vassar. "I have used my own band on a lot of it and really tried to translate all that we do live on to tape. I just put myself in the studio and poured everything I can into this project. And I'm excited about people hearing the music."
