Tim McGraw and Faith Hill joined Hollywood stars Billy Bob Thornton, Dennis Quaid and Jason Patric at San Antonio's Majestic
Theater Saturday (March 27) for the premiere of The Alamo. The country stars were invited by Thornton, who is currently
working with McGraw on another film, Friday Night Lights. At the invitation-only after-party held on the grounds of
the Alamo, McGraw told CMT News he enjoyed the film and Thornton's performance as Davy Crockett, but he's not sure he would
have been as brave as the men in the legendary battle. "Those people who stayed there [in the Alamo] knew they were going
to die," he said. "I'm not sure I would have stuck around." Thornton, who played drums at the Alamo party with Asleep
at the Wheel, told CMT News he and McGraw have been playing each other song demos during their downtime on the Friday Night
Lights set.
