Gary Stewart Tribute Set in Nashville
A tribute to the late honky-tonk singer Gary Stewart has been scheduled in Nashville for May 28 at the Trap. Artists thus
far lined up to play the benefit/tribute are Wade Hayes, Dean Dillon and Rosie Flores. Organizers of the tribute say additional
artists will be added to the lineup as the event nears. Stewart, generally regarded as one of the finest honky-tonk singers
in country music history, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Dec. 16, 2003.
