A founding member of Led Zeppelin and a member of Elvis Costello's band, the Attractions, will be touring with Nickel Creek and singer-songwriter Glen Phillips on a tour billed as An Evening With Mutual Admiration Society. Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones and Attractions drummer Pete Thomas have signed on for the tour that kicks off July 27 in Seattle. Phillips, former frontman for Toad the Wet Sprocket, and Nickel Creek will release their album, Mutual Admiration Society, on July 13. The 12-city tour will hit mostly major markets, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston and New York City. Nickel Creek and Jones first met two years ago in London. Commenting on the tour, Jones said, "What better way to spend the summer than playing good music with good people."
