Alan Jackson filmed his new video "Too Much of a Good Thing" Tuesday night (July 13) during his performance at the Grand Ole
Opry. "It's a little different than most shows," Jackson admitted. "A lot of artists that hang out in the back of the dressing
rooms are picking and practicing and hanging out." The video includes footage of a backstage jam session featuring the Georgia
native and his band, the Strayhorns. An Opry member since 1991, Jackson wanted the video to capture the show's mystique. He
noted, "It's just a unique and American music tradition." "Too Much of a Good Thing" is featured on Jackson's upcoming CD,
What I Do, set for release in September.
