Shania Twain and George Strait are listed among the 10 highest-grossing tours for the first half of 2004, according to Billboard
Boxscore. David Bowie's tour topped the list by grossing $45.4 million after playing before 722,158 fans at 82 shows.
Bette Midler was second with $40 million in gross ticket sales, and Simon & Garfunkel landed in third place with $36 million.
Twain was in fourth place at $34 million, and George Strait was in 10th place after grossing $16 million. The numbers are
based on ticket sales between Nov. 19, 2003 and May 18, 2004.
