Ray Charles' RPM International recording studios in Los Angeles will be opened for public tours on one day only to coincide
with the Aug. 31 release date of his final recording, Genius Loves Company. The studios were designed and built more
than four decades ago by Charles and longtime manager and business partner Joe Adams. During the construction, Adams guided
the blind musician through the building to demonstrate the progress being made. Genius Loves Company is a collection
of duets featuring a wide variety of vocalists, including Willie Nelson, James Taylor, Norah Jones, Bonnie Raitt and Elton
John.
