When Garth Brooks phoned during Buck Owens' 75th birthday party Tuesday night (Aug. 10) in Bakersfield, Calif., Owens asked
him if he'd ever tour or record again. Brooks said he'd be "the biggest liar on the planet" if he said he didn't miss the
music business, but the tradeoff of being with his three daughters was worth it. He added that after his youngest daughter
turns 18, all bets are off. "If I'm not 750 pounds by then, we might fire it back up," Brooks said. His youngest child celebrates
her 18th birthday in 2014.
