Dierks Bentley has been tapped to announce the finalists for the CMA's 2004 broadcast awards during an Aug. 30 press conference at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. The broadcast awards honor country radio stations and on-air personalities in four market sizes. Bentley will divulge the broadcast nominees immediately after the final nominees for the 38th annual CMA Awards are revealed on CMT Insider and CBS-TV's The Early Show. In New York, Early Show anchor Hannah Storm and Kris Kristofferson will announce artist nominees in select categories. In Nashville, CMT Insider host Katie Cook, Big & Rich and Gretchen Wilson will announce the final nominees in all 12 award categories during a special edition of Insider at 8:30 a.m. ET.
