Mindy Smith, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Tony Joe White and Shelby Lynne will perform at the Americana Honors and Awards on
Sept. 24 in Nashville during the 2004 Americana Conference. Smith is nominated for album of the year, song of the year and
emerging artist. Other performers include Jason Ringenberg, Chris Hillman, Slaid Cleaves and Ray Wylie Hubbard. Jim Lauderdale
will host the ceremony.
