Hank Williams Jr., Kid Rock, Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich, Montgomery Gentry and members of Metallica and Lynyrd Skynyrd will be featured in a concert produced in conjunction with the upcoming special CMT Greatest Outlaws: The Dirty Dozen. Others performing at the two-hour CMT Outlaws concert special will Tanya Tucker, along with Waylon Jennings' wife, Jessi Colter, and their son, Shooter Jennings. Metallica singer-guitarist James Hetfield will appear, and Lynyrd Skynyrd will be represented by guitarist Gary Rossington, keyboardist Billy Powell and vocalist Johnny Van Zant. CMT Greatest Outlaws: The Dirty Dozen will include a countdown of 12 artists whose music is accompanied by a brash attitude and bold lifestyle. Williams and Tucker are just two of the artists who made the list. Both specials premiere Oct. 29.
