Texas favorite Roger Creager and Nashville rocker Jason Ringenberg both released new albums Tuesday (Sept. 7). Creager's Live
in Texas (Dualtone) was recorded in early 2004 in several dancehalls, including Hurricane Harry's, the Mucky Duck, the
Firehouse Saloon and Gruene Hall. Ringenberg, who once led Jason & the Scorchers, was inspired by the current political climate
to write Empire Builders (Yep Roc). Other new releases this week include hard-edged songwriter Chuck Prophet's The
Age of Miracles (New West) and California mom Lisa O'Kane's Peace of Mind (Raisin' Kane).
