Toby Keith and his 17-year-old daughter, Krystal, have recorded a version of the oldies hit "Mockingbird" for his upcoming Greatest Hits 2 album. They recorded the track in Nashville with co-producers James Stroud and Lari White. The song, a 1974 hit for James Taylor and Carly Simon, was also a hit in 1963 for Charlie and Inez Foxx. Keith's daughter had previously sung the national anthem at his concerts. "Krystal and I used to sing 'Mockingbird' at home all the time," he said. "Krystal is an incredible singer, and it is just as good as it gets to work with her. She did a great job on the song and I am so proud of her."
