Council members of Florence County, S.C., have pronounced Wednesday (Oct. 27) as "Josh Turner Day," to coincide with his concert
there. Turner is a native of Hannah, S.C., and his performance will take place in nearby Florence. "It's very exciting and
fulfilling to me because it's a sign that I've continued in the right direction towards my goals," he said. "It takes a lot
of hard work to get to play a show on this level in one's hometown."
