Alison Krauss, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown and Led Zeppelin vocalist Robert Plant will pay tribute to singer-songwriter Huddie
Ledbetter (better known as Lead Belly) as part of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's ninth annual American Music Masters series.
Hosted by Harry Belafonte, the concert is billed as Shine a Light on Me: The Life and Music of Lead Belly. The late musician
is famous for his 12-string guitar style and for writing such classics as "Rock Island Line," "Goodnight, Irene," "The Midnight
Special" and "Cotton Fields." Also performing during the Nov. 7 concert at Cleveland's Severance Hall are John Hiatt, Los
Lobos, Odetta, Dave Alvin, the Tarbox Ramblers and Robert Lockwood Jr.
