Deana Carter will release the album The Story of My Life on March 8. The self-produced project marks her debut for
Vanguard Records. She will shoot a video for the first single, "One Day at a Time," in January. "I'm a big fan of '70s records
where artists could draw on whatever influences they wanted," she says. "I wanted this album to sound like a big crocheted
blanket -- to be warm yet have a lot of space."
