Tim McGraw is set to begin working on his new album in early 2005, he confirmed Tuesday (Dec. 7) during an industry party
honoring Tim Nichols and Craig Wiseman, the writers of his latest No. 1 single, "Live Like You Were Dying." At the party,
McGraw said he was fortunate to receive such a high-caliber song. "It's just a great, great song," he noted. "Those songs
don't come around very often. ... I think this has got to be a once-in-a-career kind of song." Explaining he hopes to return
to the studio in January, McGraw also acknowledges that he's been receiving more film scripts following his recent role in
Friday Night Lights. "There's a lot of those coming," he said, noting that he'll probably begin work on another film
sometime next year. "That's all I can say."
