During a Tuesday night (Jan. 11) event in Nashville with sister Ashley Judd, Wynonna responded to conservative Christians
who have criticized her for agreeing to perform on a Caribbean cruise for gay and lesbian couples. The Judd sisters, who are
featured on the cover of the February issue of Ladies Home Journal, were at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's
Ford Theater to greet winners of a magazine contest. The cover story details their work for YouthAIDS, a nonprofit organization
that educates young people about HIV and AIDS. In explaining her reasons for singing on the cruise, Wynonna said she will
never discriminate. "I've had the biggest gay following in the history of country music ... since 1980-something," she told
the group. "I think it's just the more you talk about love, the more you talk about God, the bigger of a target you are. And
so bring it on." The cruise departs on Jan. 29.
