The new year is bringing changes in ownership to three significant buildings in and around Nashville. The House of Cash --
a building that previously housed Johnny Cash's offices and a tourist center -- has been sold by the singer's son, John Carter
Cash, to Vintage Partners LLC for $600,000. The property in Hendersonville, Tenn., will be used for office space. ... On Music
Row in Nashville, the building that has provided offices for Sony Music Nashville is up for sale as Sony employees prepare
to move into the RCA Label Group building. Sony Music merged with RLG's parent company, the Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG),
in August. Significantly, the Sony building houses the Quonset Hut, the room legendary record producer Owen Bradley built
as a recording studio. The studio spawned classic recordings by Patsy Cline, Conway Twitty and many others. ... And the United
Methodist Church's General Council on Finance and Administration has paid $2.9 million for a building once occupied by the
RCA, BNA and Arista labels now located at the RLG building on 18th Avenue South.
