Martina McBride's music will be the subject of a class at Salem College, a women's liberal arts college in Winston-Salem,
N.C. Titled "Happy Girl/Broken Wing: Martina McBride as Text," the course will use McBride's songs and videos as comparisons
to a woman's experience, according to English professor Dr. Ron DePeter.
