The Americana Music Awards show is moving to the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. The Sept. 9 event will be open to the public.
Focusing on roots-oriented music that often falls outside the mainstream, the Americana Music Conference will return to the
Nashville Convention Center on Sept. 8-10, with showcases taking place at the Mercy Lounge and Station Inn. The 2004 awards
show was held at the Convention Center.
