Lynn Anderson's attorney has entered pleas of not guilty to three charges in connection with her Jan. 24 arrest in Taos, N.M.
Anderson is charged with shoplifting for allegedly stealing a Harry Potter DVD from a local food and drug store. However,
the 57-year-old singer also faces additional charges of battery on a police officer and resisting or obstructing an officer
after she struck an officer in the arm while she was being led to a patrol car. Anderson sought medical treatment outside
New Mexico after the pleas were entered Friday (Jan. 28). Anderson's attorney described her as a "loved and respected member
of the Taos community."
