Garth Brooks is making a rare appearance Sunday (Feb. 13) at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, Texas. Appearing with singer-songwriters
Steve Wariner, Stephanie Davis and Dan Roberts, the concert is aimed at raising money to purchase a piece of medical equipment
for Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth. The machine -- an intraoperative MRI machine -- helped saved the life of
Roberts' 12-year-old daughter who had a brain tumor removed in 2002. Brooks insists he's not coming out of retirement. "This
is all about Dan Roberts and the daughter that he thought he would lose," Brooks told the Associated Press. Tickets are $1,000
each.
