John Mellencamp will begin a spring tour on March 23 in Savannah, Ga., to promote his double-disc set of hits, Words &
Music. The 16-city tour will conclude April 17 in Louisville, Ky. "Going out and playing is a great way for me to keep
these songs alive," Mellencamp said. "It's what I've done for my whole professional life." All tickets will be $45 or less
throughout the tour. Singer-songwriter Donovan, best known for '60s hits such as "Sunshine Superman" and "Mellow Yellow,"
will open the shows.
