Black Cloud, a film featuring Tim McGraw, opened Friday (March 11) in New York City, Los Angeles, Boston and several
other select cities. According to the film's Web site, Black Cloud focuses on "a talented young boxer who discovers
his place within the boxing ring and world around him." McGraw portrays Sheriff Powers in the film directed by actor Rick
Schroder. Although McGraw achieved critical acclaim for his role in Friday Night Lights, Black Cloud was filmed
earlier and marks his first role as an actor. Black Cloud also stars Russell Means, Wayne Knight and, in the title
role, Eddie Spears.
