Dwight Yoakam will release a new album, Blame the Vain, on June 14 on New West Records. Produced by Yoakam (without
longtime collaborator Pete Anderson), the first single is expected in April. Yoakam will tour the U.S. starting in July. He
will also appear in three films this year -- Bandidas (with Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek), The Three Burials of
Melquiades Estrada (directed by and starring Tommy Lee Jones) and The Wedding Crashers (with Owen Wilson and Vince
Vaughan).
