Caitlin Cary and Thad Cockrell -- two prominent alt.country musicians who came up in the Raleigh, N.C., music scene -- have
teamed for a new duets album, Begonias. Recorded in Nashville with producer Brad Jones, guitarist Pat Buchanan and
pedal steel guitarist Pete Finney, the album will be released June 14 on Yep Roc Records. The longtime friends wrote most
of the material together, including several songs during their three weeks in the studio. They also covered Percy Sledge's
"Warm and Tender Love."
