Eddie Montgomery broke four bones in his left wrist when he fell from the stage during a Thursday night (April 28) concert
in Asheville, N.C. During the third song of Montgomery Gentry's show at the Asheville Civic Center, Montgomery tumbled to
the floor after stepping on a speaker cabinet that was not properly secured beside the stage. He completed the 90-minute concert
before visiting a local emergency room. With his wrist in a cast, Montgomery traveled to Mississippi for weekend dates. Partner
Troy Gentry said, "I knew it was a serious injury by the look on Eddie's face and the fact that his arm was dangling at his
side the rest of the show."
