Willie Nelson will release his long-delayed reggae album, Countryman, on Aug. 2 on Lost Highway Records. The album includes nine songs Nelson wrote or co-wrote, as well as two of Jimmy Cliff's most famous songs -- "The Harder They Come" and "Sitting in Limbo." Toots Hibbert, leader of Toots and the Maytals, appears on "I'm a Worried Man," written by Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. Nelson and producer Don Was began discussing a reggae-inspired country album in 1995, but the unfinished project was later shelved due to label reorganizations and mergers. Lost Highway hired producer Richard Feldman to mix the album.
