New York artist Charles Fazzino has been commissioned by the Country Music Association to create a 3-D piece of artwork to
commemorate the CMA Awards taking place in New York City. Prior to being named this year's official artist of the CMA Awards,
Fazzino has served in a similar role for the Indianapolis 500, the Super Bowl, the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, U.S.
Olympic teams, the U.S. Tennis Foundation and the Grammy Awards, among others. Fazzino said, "I am a big fan of country music.
... I hope that my image will succeed in weaving the essence of country music throughout the fabric that makes up the great
city of New York,"
