Mindy McCready was transported to Nashville's Saint Thomas Hospital early Friday morning (Sept. 23) after a report of a drug overdose. After an initial 911 call at 2:13 a.m., the singer was taken to the hospital following a second call at 4:04 a.m. According to a police report, McCready consumed approximately 30 anti-depressant pills after getting into an argument during a phone conversation with her boyfriend. In July, McCready was treated at a Florida hospital for an overdose after she was found unconscious in the lobby of a Holiday Inn near Tampa. So far this year, the 29-year-old singer's problems include an alleged beating by her boyfriend and a drunken driving arrest in Nashville, along with an arrest warrant issued in Arizona for her involvement in a con scheme. In 2004, McCready was convicted of fraudulently obtaining a prescription for OxyContin. Earlier this week near Nashville, McCready was released on bond pending trial on a probation charge. She told the court she learned she was pregnant after attempting to commit suicide.
