Jessi Colter and John Anderson will appear with Waylon Jennings' former band during a fundraiser for the American Diabetes
Association. The performance is part of this year's ADA Jean Therapy event set for Oct. 28 at the Factory in Franklin, Tenn.
Jennings died from complications of diabetes in 2002. This marks the first time Colter -- his wife and bandmate -- has appeared
with his Waymore Blues Band since his memorial service in Nashville later that year. Band members confirmed to perform are
Robby Turner, Richie Albright, Rance Wasson, Barney Robertson, Carter Robertson, Kevin "Swine" Grantt, Charlie Rose, Steve
Herrman and Jim Horn. Also on the bill are vocalist Bonnie Bramlett and daughter Bekka Bramlett, along with Jon Tiven, Marty
Brown and Carters Cord (a group featuring three daughters of Barney Robertson and Carter Robertson). Jean Therapy honors the
memory of John Jarrard, a Nashville songwriter who died from complications of diabetes, and raises funding and awareness for
fighting the disease. Clothing designer Manuel serves as the event's honorary chairman.
