Worley's Hometown Event Raises $125,000
Darryl Worley raised more than $125,000 at his annual Tennessee River Run event last month near his hometown of Savannah, Tenn. Worley donated $50,000 to the American Red Cross for its Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. Most of the remaining proceeds will remain in the area, given to organizations supported by Worley's charitable foundation. "I always have such a great time at this event," Worley said. "I get to hang out with my neighbors, participate in some really fun events and raise money for some very good causes."
