Bon Jovi, Paul Simon and actor James Gandolfini of The Sopranos will make appearances on the 39th annual CMA Awards
show taking place Nov. 15 at Madison Square Garden in New York. Bon Jovi will perform "Who Says You Can't Go Home," a track
from the band's latest album, with Sugarland vocalist Jennifer Nettles. Bon Jovi and Sugarland recently collaborated during
an episode of CMT Crossroads. Simon will join Willie Nelson in presenting the song of the year award. Other performers
announced Monday (Oct. 24) include Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas and Horizon Award nominees Miranda
Lambert and Julie Roberts. ... In related news, the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tenn., is issuing commemorative bottles
of whiskey for the awards show. The CMA will be distributing the special bottles to all the nominees, presenters and performers
over the legal drinking age.
