Billy Currington will sing "On the Street Where You Live" from My Fair Lady and famed film and stage performer Ben
Vereen will offer Roger Miller's "King of the Road" during the Broadway Meets Country concert set for Nov. 12 at New York's
Lincoln Center. With country artists performing Broadway songs and Broadway stars interpreting country songs, the concert
will also find Trisha Yearwood and Idina Menzel singing "For Good" from the musical, Wicked, and Glen Campbell offering
"You'll Never Walk Alone" from Carousel. Andrea McArdle has chosen "Fancy," the Bobbie Gentry classic later covered
by Reba McEntire. Marin Mazzie will sing Dolly Parton's "9 to 5." Others performing include Raul Malo, Neal McCoy, Jamie O'Neal,
Julie Roberts, Carrie Underwood, Trisha Yearwood and Lonestar's Richie McDonald. The event will be co-hosted by Lee Ann Womack
and Tony award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell. The event is a fundraiser for the Actors' Fund of America and the American Red
Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Tickets are priced at $350 (for the concert only) and $1,000 (for the concert and a pre-show cocktail
reception with the performers).
