Elvis Presley Enterprises Inc. has proposed a vanity license plate featuring Presley and a guitar, as well as a "1956" to
denote the year "Heartbreak Hotel" hit No. 1 on the pop charts. However, the state of Tennessee can't approve the plate request
until orders reach 1,000 units. Only Tennessee residents can apply. Proceeds from the plate would benefit the Regional Medical
Center in Memphis, the location of the Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center.
