Kris Kristofferson has signed with New West Records and will release This Old Road, his first project for the independent
label, on March 7. The 11-song album was produced by Don Was, whose production credits include the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan,
Brian Wilson and Bonnie Raitt. Was also produced The Road Goes On Forever, a 1995 album by the Highwaymen, the group
featuring Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and the late Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. Guests on Kristofferson's new album include
a former member of his band, guitarist Stephen Bruton.
