Alan Jackson Teams With Nashville Red Cross
Alan Jackson has partnered with the Nashville chapter of the American Red Cross to thank the city's volunteers and donors. Jackson will be featured on billboards, print and radio ads and a public service announcement. Thousands of evacuees from Hurricane Katrina relocated to Tennessee in the aftermath of the storm. The city's Red Cross volunteers served more than 12,800 meals and 26,800 snacks upon arrival of the evacuees and distributed more than $1.45 million in emergency financial assistance to more than 2,800 displaced families.
